Under a stable pressure, measure the time required for a certain volume of gas (25-300cc) to flow through a specific area of ​​the sample. The air pressure is provided by a cylinder with a specific diameter and standard weight. It can slide freely in the outer cylinder filled with sealing oil. The sample to be tested is clamped between the standard gaskets. The center of the gasket has a small hole to allow gas flow. However, the pore size is 1.0, 0.25, or 0.1Sqinch. There are two types of readings: direct reading and indirect reading.

Type 4110 is a commonly used equipment for measuring air permeability. If a smaller aperture interface and gasket are used, low permeability materials can be effectively measured, and a 5-ounce inner cylinder can be used to measure high permeability materials. Standard 4110 air permeability meter, with a 20-ounce built-in cylinder and 1.0Sqinch round hole lower clamp pad and upper connection. The first two movement intervals of the inner cylinder are 25cc, and then both are 50cc, and the total is 300cc. In the new type of air permeability meter, the lower platform is lifted and the upper and lower splints are retracted by rotating the handle to realize the fixation and clamping of the sample.
